Digital banking is getting better.

On July 21, 2026 we’re introducing a more modern, secure, and powerful way to bank with the same Koin Credit Union you already trust. Here’s everything you need to know before the switch (coming in August).

Get the new mobile app on July 21

The new Koin app is ready to download the morning of Tuesday, July 21 — as early as 7:00 AM. It has the same name and the same logo, but it's now connected to our new online banking system, so there's one quick step to follow first.

Delete the old app first

Remove the current Koin app from your phone before doing anything else. This clears the old connection.

Download the new app

Install the new Koin app from the App Store or Google Play. Same name, same logo — now linked to our new system.

Sign in & set your password

Use your same username, then create a new password the first time you log in. Your accounts and payees carry over.

Please delete the old app before installing the new one. Because it's the same app now connected to a new banking vendor, removing it first makes sure everything links up correctly.

Not much. Make sure your contact info is current so you receive setup instructions, and jot down your username you'll keep it. The first time you log in to the new system, you'll create a new password.
Your username stays exactly the same. For your security, you'll set a brand-new password the first time you sign in to the new platform.
Yes. Your saved payees, scheduled payments, and recurring payments will carry over automatically, there's nothing to re-enter. We suggest that you log in and review your scheduled and recurring payments after launch to make sure there is no lapse or interruption.
