- Open a new KOIN Visa Rewards Card or upgrade an existing KOIN credit card during the promotion period.
- Make your first qualifying purchase within 60 days of account opening to receive 5,000 bonus points.
- Bonus points will be credited to your account within 1–2 statement cycles.
- Offer available to eligible KOIN members in good standing. One bonus per member.

Open a new KOIN Visa Rewards Card or upgrade your existing KOIN credit card between April 1 and June 30, 2026. Make your first qualifying purchase within 60 days of account opening. Your 5,000 bonus points will be credited within 1–2 statement cycles after the qualifying purchase posts.
If you already hold a KOIN Visa Rewards Card and have not previously received a new-account bonus, you may be eligible. Contact our member services team to confirm your eligibility before applying.
Your credit card Rewards Points and debit rewards are both visible in your KOIN Online Banking portal under a single rewards dashboard. Points earned from both accounts can be viewed and redeemed in one place.
POS (Point of Sale) transactions are PIN-based purchases made in person — like using your card at a checkout terminal and entering your PIN. Signature transactions occur when you sign for a purchase (or skip the PIN online) — most online purchases and many restaurant transactions fall into this category. All qualifying purchases earn 1 point for every $1 spent with your Koin Rewards Card.
You can redeem your KOIN Rewards Points for travel (flights, hotels, car rentals), statement credits (cash back), gift cards from popular retailers, and more. Redemption options are available through the KOIN Online Banking portal or mobile app.
Most applications receive a decision within minutes when completed online. In some cases, additional review may be required, which can take up to 7–10 business days. You will be notified via email once a decision is made.
